John Edwards got a lot of criticism recently with his $400 haircut. However, in terms of increasing his credibility as a serious presidential contender, it was more than worth it. His old hairstyle (left) is not sophisticated and is a classic collegiate look.
For both men and woman, anything that looks collegiate is the kiss of death because it literally shouts "greenhorn." College students have many qualities, but experience is not among them.
Edwards would also be advised to ditch the jeans and other Down Home garments. Once a person is president, he or she can break all the rules, but until then, the only look that I recommend is a "presidential" look.
What do you think?

You are right! He definitely look more experienced in the second picture, what a difference the haircut makes!

John Edwards did look somewhat boyish last time around, I guess he wasn’t ready to be president then. He looks more sophisticated now.

Hi Chang,
Yes, you are right. John Edwards not only looks more credible, he looks more sophisticated, too. Both are good qualities to have when running for president.
