Check out this article about women getting a higher salary if a family member recommended them! The article notes that men don’t usually do social networking. They don’t have to. I agree with one of the comments in the article which suggested that women probably increase their credibility, and hence their salary, when they are recommended by family members. Men walk in the door and already have credibility. What do you think?
